SUNDAY MORNING DAWNING ~ in the snow
Forget the car it's not too far
Put on our boots and go !
SUNDAY MORNING DAWNING ~ Praise the LORD
The Church is warm and so inviting
There's hymns to sing and Psalm reciting
Were just a few ~ we fill the pew
but heaven's our reward !
SUNDAY MORNING DAWNING ~ The Vicar's always there
And what is more he lives next door
and just jumps off his chair !
SUNDAY MORNING DAWNING ~ snow will never daunt us
We cross the graveyard in the snow
and hope that they won't haunt us.
SUNDAY MORNING DAWNING ~ hear the bells Ding Dong
And if it doesn't snow no more
we'll be back for Evensong !
Church in the snow is always fun and always
a snowball fight with the choirboys !

ReplyDeleteAh Panda, inviting and beautiful! I love to walk in the snow and then getting warm inside the church, i love Evensong events.....ahhh and then a good fresh fight in the snow.......sounds so young, so refreshing and childish.....lovely of you to sound so very positive.. xo ♡
